Vertex Surveying Group provides professional property surveying, assessment and compliance services to landlords, letting agents, property managers, housing providers and homeowners.
Our experience in property spans more than 35 years, covering residential property, lettings, property management, development and property ownership.
As property professionals and landlords ourselves, we understand buildings not only from a surveying and compliance perspective, but from the practical perspective of owning, managing and maintaining property.
That experience is supported by recognised professional accreditation. Our surveyors are Elmhurst accredited, providing specialist services including Damp & Mould Surveys, Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Retrofit Assessments and property condition inspections.

Beyond the visible symptoms
Damp and mould problems are rarely solved by simply treating what can be seen.
Moisture within a property can result from numerous factors, including water ingress, plumbing defects, condensation, inadequate ventilation, cold bridging, defective external finishes, ground levels or historic leaks.
Our assessments look beyond the visible symptoms to establish the likely source and contributing factors, helping ensure that remedial works address the underlying problem rather than simply covering it up.
Where appropriate, our reports include photographic evidence, moisture readings, observations, recommended remedial actions and prioritised works.
Energy & retrofit
Understanding energy performance
Vertex Surveying Group also provides Domestic Energy Performance Certificates and Retrofit Assessments, helping property owners understand the energy performance of their buildings and identify appropriate opportunities for improvement.
