Commercial EPC
Commercial EPCs.
Carried out by an accredited Non-Domestic Energy Assessor for offices, shops, industrial units and mixed-use buildings, whether you are letting, selling or planning improvements.
A commercial (non-domestic) Energy Performance Certificate is required whenever a commercial building is built, sold or let. It rates the building's energy efficiency from A+ to G and comes with a recommendation report setting out cost-effective improvements.
Commercial landlords must also meet the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), which currently prevent most non-domestic properties rated F or G from being let.
What's included
- Site survey of the building's construction, heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation
- Energy Performance Certificate lodged on the national register
- Recommendation report with practical improvement measures
- Clear advice on MEES compliance for let properties
